When we think of the 80′s music we usually think of tracks like Take on Me by Aha, or even a track by Hall and Oats or The King of Pop. Most of the nostalgic sounds are pop music hits that had that unique 80′s sound. Almost every genre of music has a distinct sound for that period in history. I love R&B from that time. It had a heavy Funk influence with a slice of House mixed in. With that in mind I present to you D-Train. You figure it out.

Jay Electronica KILLED SO BAD ON EXHIBIT C…………..that he forced good MC’s out of the woodwork. The track by Just Blaze is still head nod worthy and i’m still not sick of the original. That Nick Fury killed all over the place, Joel is still as solid as ever, and to be honest Sha Stimuli’s version is dope. None move me like the original but all are worth a listen. You figure it out.

As many of you know the COLDBLUDED tee line is in full effect. In the past few weeks we have launched coldeelsdeepthoughts.com as well as the 1st official Coldeels Mixtape, and the store is up and running. Last week we had the chance to meet with Banks Photography and our lovely model Precious Wood for a Coldeels photoshoot. We asked our in house artist Richard Bestia to see what he could come up with from that shoot. Here are a few of the results. Check out more at the store.

With 22% of the vote. GUCCI MANE is who most of our visitors are sick of. I was personally rooting for Hurricane Chris but Gucci took in the most votes. Gucci is locked down currently and I wis him luck and patience while he completes his sentence. I hope that he takes this time to write, and write, and write, and maybe he might have something worthy to say when he returns. GOD I hope so.
Classic joint from the late and great Camu Tao & Dj Przm. This dropped when I was in college around 98 I think and became an instant underground classic. The production by Dj Przm is extremely organic, it feels like Hip Hop, and Camu Tao’s lyrical delivery is awesome. An untrained ear may be turned off by his heavy lisp, however his punchlines and metaphors are crystal clear. This is one of my all time favorites. I hope you enjoy.
